Join Darina for a deeply relaxing two-hour workshop designed to release tension and reconnect you with your body. Using the black Yamuna balls, we’ll slowly work through the major muscles of the lower body—the hamstrings, quads, inner and outer thighs—while focusing on breath and mindful awareness. Rather than pushing your body, you’ll be exploring it with curiosity, noticing your internal experience, sensations, breathing, and emotions as they arise.
The atmosphere will be quiet and softly lit by candlelight, inviting you to close your eyes, turn inward, and fully sink into the practice. With each gentle roll and breath, you’ll unwind layers of physical and mental tension, restoring balance and ease throughout the body.
We’ll end with a series of restorative poses to open the chest, shoulders, and heart—leaving you grounded, spacious, and renewed.
Meet Darina, your Movement Therapist
With over 25 years of experience, Darina is a leading movement therapist known for her expert guidance, deep knowledge, and compassionate approach. Holding multiple certifications in Yoga, Pilates, Yamuna® Body Rolling, and Breathwork, she has trained directly with the founders of Power Yoga, Yin Yoga, BASI Pilates, and Yamuna Body Rolling, and also holds a Master’s degree in Nutrition.
Darina’s work blends science, intuition, and mindful movement to help people feel better in their bodies - restoring healthy movement, reducing stress, and increasing mobility and strength—so they can enjoy the activities they love. After years of training high-profile and celebrity clients in Greece, Switzerland, London, and Monaco, she now focuses on mature adults in the Washington Metropolitan area, offering personalized programs that meet each body’s unique needs.
Through her classes, workshops, and private sessions, Darina empowers students to move better, feel stronger, and live with greater balance and vitality.

Join Darina for rejuvenating group classes that blend Body Rolling, gentle yoga, mat Pilates, and breathwork into a balanced, healing practice. Using specially designed Yamuna balls, you’ll gently release tension, increase flexibility, and ease areas of discomfort. We also pull from other modalities as needed to round out our practice.

Your first private session is all about getting to know you—your body, your history, and your goals. We’ll begin with a thoughtful conversation about your daily activities, past injuries, movement habits, and any previous physical therapy or exercise experience. Then, Darina will observe how you move through a series of simple exercises to assess your mobility, stability, and flexibility. From there, we’ll outline a personalized plan and work together to increase awareness, ease, and balance—creating the foundation for progress and well-being in your movement journey.
As your physical skills and mobility improve, Darina will have you focus increasingly on internal awareness and increased presence to promote emotional and physical integration. You’ll learn skills for increased self awareness, better mind‐body connection, and learn to reduce both physical and mental stress. As your body unwinds long-held stories, emotions, and patterns—and as physical strength and mobility improve—your overall ability to function will increase dramatically.
Workshops
Workshops offer a deeper dive into Darina’s full range of teachings, providing an opportunity to slow down, explore, connect more intentionally with your body, and understand “the why” of particular movements. Each workshop focuses on specific areas of the body, combining mindful movement with an understanding of the anatomical principles behind each exercise. Through this immersive experience, you’ll gain deeper knowledge of movement techniques and learn to support healing, build strength, enhance mobility, and cultivate a sense of calm and balance in both body and mind.
